nice garden, easy access to routes, good parking on site
Outdated bathroom styles!!! TV reception worse than awful!!! Pool area facilities lack basic maintenance!!! Creaky floors disrupt sleep!!! Improve signage to rooms!!! Surely maintaining cleanliness is a must!!!

we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old hotel in a great spot for exploring the lakes. our superior double room had a comfy four-poster bed with funky lighting, and the water pressure in the shower was impressive for such an old building. the staff were incredibly friendly, and we loved the fantastic breakfast options and the well-maintained facilities, including the indoor pool.

A delightful stay with a warm welcome upon arrival. The breakfast offered a wonderful variety, including fresh fruits and well-cooked options. The spacious room was clean and equipped with a kettle and tea facilities. A lovely atmosphere in the bar area complemented the friendly staff. the location could be slightly improved, as it was a bit remote for those wanting easy access to local attractions. the shower pressure wasn't as strong as expected, and parking could be challenging during busy times.

Comfortable stay with great amenities
The family room was spacious with comfy beds and a nice view of the garden. It had an electric kettle, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with toiletries. Free Wi-Fi, a lovely bar, and a fitness center were added bonuses. Breakfast was a self-service buffet with plenty of options. There’s even an indoor swimming pool for a relaxing dip.

we had a great time at newby bridge hotel! staff were super friendly and even gave my dogs a nice tickle when we arrived. our room was clean, warm, and had comfy beds. the food was amazin and they catered to my lacto intolerance at breakfast. the location by the river was perfect for dog walks!
only downside was that the parking was a bit tight and the restaurant was a little slow sometimes.

I had a lovely time at Newby Bridge. The location by the river inspired my photography, while the clean, comfortable room provided a cozy base. Staff friendliness enhanced my experience, even accommodating my dietary needs beautifully, although the parking felt a bit tight.

Charming atmosphere with original beams and cozy fireplaces throughout the common areas. Room offered an unexpected four-poster bed alongside a refurbished bathroom and a pleasant view over the lake. The bar food served each night provided a solid selection, and the spa area featured lovely Roman-style frescoes, contributing to a nice ambiance.
Breakfast setup lacked organization. self-service left little available when I arrived, making refills a hassle. The swimming pool and jacuzzi could use a serious clean-up. they felt a bit grimy, and only one changing room for all guests was underwhelming. the steam room needed better insulation. it never quite reached a proper heat level. Checkout time extension was denied, which felt a bit inflexible, especially since I had hoped for a little extra time to unwind before heading out.

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The location is perfect for exploring nearby lakes, making it easy to enjoy nature. The family room was spacious and well-equipped, providing comfort for us during our two-night stay.
The breakfast options were limited and could use more variety.
